This motorboat course is the ideal consolidation and further training option for skippers who already have experience, who, as prospective globetrotters on a sea-going charter yacht or their own yacht, want tour all oceans or maybe even take part in an Atlantic crossing.
Long-distance routes of over 200 nm offshore are usually only completed on large luxury yachts, that are led by a professional crew, complete with captain. However, sometimes dreams come true and then it is important to be very well prepared. And so that is indeed the case, in our FB4 motorboat course you get insights into additional skills with regard to navigation, on-board safety, how to deal with storms, managing long-distance journeys and many other important inputs.
NEW: On request, it is possible for us to arrange an extended First Aid course and self-sufficiency option for you. In these cases, we work with a professional team of doctors. This course takes place independently of this course.
It is NOT absolutely necessary to have completed the FB3 motorboat course, but it is recommended and advisable. If you are planning a long-distance route, we offer additional special courses. We are also happy to arrange bad weather training (Baltic Sea and North Sea).
