The Croatian coast patent is issued by the authorities at the Croatian Ministry for Maritime and Transport. It is an official 'Sportbootführerschein-See' permit, the 'Boat Skipper B' issued by the Republic of Croatia. It entitles the holder to explore the islands off the coast of Croatia in a sailing or motor yacht. The official examination to gain this boating licence is taken in Croatia.
Our instructors do of course strive to provide the best possible training for course participants. However, we consider all course participants on an individual basis and consider all requirements and suggestions.
As an Austrian sailing school, we advocate professional, yet also time-saving, training. Nonetheless, we are neutral with regard to the internationally recognised Austrian skipper patents (FB1 to FB4) and the Croatian coast patent (Boat Skipper B). Each person does after all have individual goals and it therefore makes sense for many to save time and money and therefore acquire the Croatian coast patent.
